As a benefit to ECIA members, the EIA Standards Committee (ESC) has developed a number of resources related to standards and standards development. Whether you are just curious and want to learn more, very experienced but looking for a refresher or somewhere in between, there are tools and references that can be of help to you.

The Standards Procedures Toolbox contains manuals, operating procedures and publications related to the standards development process.

A collection of documents with information about the value of standards and the development and certification processes, as well as standards and conformity assessment can be found in Standards Related Training.

The ACH Committee Public Access Documents contains technical documents related to automated component handling.

Electropedia, produced by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is the world's most comprehensive online electrical and electronic terminology database containing more than 20,000 terms and definitions in English and French, organized by subject area, with equivalent terms in various other languages. It contains all the terms and definitions in the International Electrotechnical Vocabulary or IEV which is also published as a set of standards in the IEC 60050 series.
