What is your involvement with ECIA and what have you gained from your engagement with the association?
Since taking the helm at PUI Audio in 2019 I have encouraged participation in all the services and events supported by ECIA. In addition to EDS which PUI was already participating in, we have benefited from the PACE training program and participation in the Executive Conference, as well as the industry stats and updates published by ECIA. Personally, I had the privilege of contributing on the ECIA Exec Conf Sponsorship sub-committee in 2024, and on the Core committee in 2025. It has been very rewarding to contribute to the ECIA Exec Conf, but the best part is working with the ECIA staff and the other volunteers on the committee.
What does your company do and what is your role in your company?
PUI Audio is a manufacturer of audio, haptics, and sensing devices for medical, industrial, security, and consumer markets.
I am the CEO.
What is your favorite thing about this industry?
My favorite thing about the electronics components industry is that it achieves a great balance between developing lifelong personal relationships while maintaining a world class level of professionalism.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
My wife and I love to travel the world and experience different cultures, one of most memorable trips was to Cappadocia, Turkey. I also like to play golf, sail, snow ski, shoot pool and appreciate the arts.
