ECIA CEO David Loftus Reappointed to CMA Board of Directors
National Association of Manufacturers’ (NAM) CMA unites associations to empower manufacturers’ agenda

ATLANTA ECIA is pleased to announce that President and CEO David Loftus has been reelected to a second 3-year term on the NAM Council of Manufacturing Associations’ board of directors. The National Association of Manufacturers announced the new 2025 leadership for its Council of Manufacturing Associations (CMA) at their 2025 Winter Leadership Conference.

The CMA’s mission is focused on bolstering the industry’s nationwide grassroots mobilization efforts and improving the competitiveness of manufacturers in the United States. CMA members work with the NAM to unite the manufacturing association community, and ultimately the broader business community, around strategies for increased manufacturing job creation, investment, and innovation in America. Made up of 260 industry-specific manufacturing associations representing 130,000 companies worldwide, the CMA creates powerful partnerships across the industry and ensures manufacturers have the strongest possible voice.

“NAM continues to advocate for critical investments in U.S. manufacturing at the highest levels,” commented Loftus. “I’m very proud to serve this group of industry-leading associations to enable our ECIA members to be an important part of this conversation to advocate for sound policies and strategic support for our industry.”

About NAM

The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) works for the success of the more than 13 million people who make things in America. Our work is centered around four values that make our industry strong and America exceptional: free enterprise, competitiveness, individual liberty and equal opportunity. These pillars guide what we do every day, whether it’s standing up for manufacturers in Washington, DC, inspiring the next generation of manufacturing talent, providing news and intelligence about the industry or helping members innovate and advance.
Representing 14,000 member companies—from small businesses to global leaders—in every industrial sector, we are the nation’s most effective resource and most influential advocate for these values and for manufacturers across the country. Today, we are a one-stop shop for manufacturers and manufacturing.
