In addition, the entire library has been migrated to a new, easier to use learning management platform. ECIA Foundation’s PACE is a unique training program for ECIA members and sponsor companies that explains key concepts and terminology to employees new to the electronics industry. The ECIA Foundation, led by Foundation President Jim Kaplan, worked with a committee and ECIA Service Partner Lectrix Group to develop the initial 10 courses. The courses are hosted on the ECIA website for all members to use as part of their annual dues. “The original 10 courses in our PACE curriculum have trained over 1500 member employees and we’re thrilled to offer five new courses focused on reaching and calling on the customer, before and after the sale,” explained ECIA’s President and CEO David Loftus. “PACE has wildly exceeded our initial expectations and our original infrastructure. We are proud to introduce all 15 courses running on our new Absorb Learning Management System (LMS). The Absorb environment provides a much-improved user experience and reporting and allows us to easily scale to the next level.” The five brand-new e-learning courses developed with our agency partner, Lectrix are entitled: Members can log in at Ecianow.org/PACE to access the full library of courses. Previous users will need to enter their username (your email address) and click on reset password to create a password when accessing the LMS for the first time.
