EIA Standards Update

World Standards Day

EIA Standards staff participated in the U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day in Washington, D.C. last week. EIA standards have been produced and maintained by volunteers on a variety of standards committees and have provided essential benchmarks for the manufacture, testing and use of passive electronic components and associated technologies. 

Membership on ECIA standards committees is open to anyone with a material interest in the subject matter and ECIA member companies are strongly encouraged to participate.
