ECIA Welcomes New Manufacturers’ Council Members
ECIA is pleased to announce the following new members of the Manufacturers’ Council:

- Dawn Manhart, Knowles
- JN Corman, Renesas
- Josiah Haas, Bud Industries
ECIA has three councils reporting directly to the Board of Directors. The Distributor, Manufacturer and Independent Manufacturers’ Rep Councils are made up of up to 15 members and have oversight responsibility for their specific priorities and agenda items. The council meetings are a forum for the groups to discuss their individual constituent needs and issues.
All members are invited guests to the appropriate council meetings. Tom Wichert, TDK-Lambda Americas Inc. Is currently chair of the Manufacturers’ Council. Read more.

ECIA TOP 50 Americas Authorized Distributors Report 2024
Distributors Limit 2023 Revenue Decline to –6.4% (As seen in Electronics Sourcing Magazine)
After two years of back-to-back unprecedented growth, the Top 50 Americas Authorized Electronic Component Distributors hit a bump in the road in 2023. Despite the challenging environment distributors encountered in 2023 they were able to limit the overall decline in Americas revenues to -6.4%. Revenues for 2023 still came in above the 2021 level and were $8.2 Billion above 2020 combined revenues.

ECIA Celebrates More than 1,400 PACE Learners
PACE Yourself!
This unique training program was released in May of 2022. The training covers key industry concepts to employees new to the electronics industry. There are 10 total courses currently for members of ECIA.
To sign up for the training, your employees and colleagues should first create a profile. From there they will be approved for the training.
Stay tuned for updates as ECIA completes more courses in the near future.
ECIA Research and Analysis
ECIA offers its members insight into the industry and a variety of market trends information. Members can log into the website and visit the Stats & Insights page to access an increasing number of statistical reports. Some are available to the public, some to members and others are only accessible to those who participate in the survey.
