ECIA CEO David Loftus Invited to Participate on Panel at NAM Conference
Panel discussion takes place at National Association of Manufacturers’ Council winter conference.

Atlanta — ECIA’s CEO and President David Loftus will participate on a panel discussion on Jan 11 called “The Supply Chain Evolution: Current Trends and Future Insights” at the National Association of Manufacturers Council of Manufacturing Associations’ winter conference in Baltimore. He will be discussing how geopolitical challenges are affecting the supply chain, how supply chain partners can better mitigate shortages, and how ECIA is working with federal agencies to better coordinate public-private partnerships to control sensitive technology shipments to denied entities.

The Council of Manufacturing Associations (CMA) is made up of over 260 manufacturing trade associations that work together on behalf of manufacturing in the United States. The NAM works with its association partners to promote legislative, regulatory and economic policies that enhance manufacturing, support the professional development of association leaders and provide opportunities to connect with strategic allies.

“The NAM’s Council of Manufacturing Associations’ winter conference brings together organizations like the ECIA that advocate for policies that will lead to a robust regional manufacturing base, which is critical to the business objectives of ECIA’s member companies,” explained Loftus. “I’m looking forward to raising awareness among that group of what we do to increase efficiencies in the U.S.-based component supply chain.”
