Executive Conference Features Digital Marketing Session and Panel on Talent
‘Manufacturing Millennial’ Jake Hall Presents on Technology and the Workforce

Atlanta — ECIA’s Executive Conference schedule addresses a challenge sure to be top of mind for all attendees: the race to attract and retain talent. A session entitled ‘Digital Marketing: Technology and the Workforce’ is one of the sessions for the event which will take place October 22-24 at the Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel. Following this session, Presenter Jake Hall will lead a panel discussion on ‘Recruiting Talent to the Electronic Components Industry.’ The panel consists of individuals who participated in ECIA focus groups on the topic.

“The industry is changing,” Jake Hall writes. “Older generations are retiring from the workforce, and companies are scrambling to fill needed roles and adapt to a transforming industry. How can we better understand future generations and, more importantly, how are automation and technology going to impact the way they work?”

The session addresses the question of whether things like digital marketing, AI, ChatGPT, and social media can excite employees more about their jobs, and highlights how companies are finding success in:

  • Better understanding the future generations in this industry.
  • Adopting and leveraging technology that will empower future employees.
  • Finding new strategies to engage customers and grow impact.
