ECIA Announces Opening Keynote Speaker for Executive Conference

The ECIA Executive Conference Committee is pleased to announce the name of the opening keynote session title, “FEAR(LESS)™ Mindset What's Your Story,” presented by Rebecca Heiss. Our brains aren’t built for this rapidly changing world… But they are adaptable. By consciously crafting a mindset that helps us lean into these challenges rather than treat them as threats, we’ll be able to avoid the burnout, frustration, and turnover that might otherwise plague us and our clients. And, perhaps most importantly, we can deepen the connections we had to the purpose and people that drew us into this industry we love to begin with.

During this town hall style council meeting, we discussed many of the more recent initiatives of the Association as well as issues and priorities going forward.
The Rep Town Hall was March 31 and the Manufacturer Town Hall was April 21.

TTI Family of Companies Increases Donation to ECIA Foundation
ECIA Foundation is pleased to announce that the total donation from the TTI Family of Companies, specifically Sager and Mouser, to support FIRST Robotics will be $250,000. In addition, ECIA will receive $75,000 in the name of Sager, designated for the PACE training program.
The mission of FIRST is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based competitions that build science, engineering, and technology skills, inspire innovation, and foster well-rounded life skills including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

Macroeconomics I – Inflation and Interest Rates Webinar Recording
In a partnership with the Association Education Alliance (AEA), ECIA members were able to attend this webinar on April 13.
Alex Chausovsky, the Vice President of Analytics and Consulting at the Miller Resource Group leveraged more than 20 years of expertise to tackle these difficult questions to help distribution leaders get a solid footing on macroeconomic issues. The first episode provided practical and actionable advice to distributors to help them stay ahead of the curve on inflation and interest rates.
