FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ECIA GIPC Welcomes New Committee Member
Anne Taylor, Sr. Vice President, Vishay joins GIPC

ECIA’s Global Industry Practices Committee (GIPC) is very pleased to welcome Anne Taylor, Sr. VP Global Customer Service, Vishay to the Committee. Anne will replace Andy Zanelli, who has joined the ECIA Manufacturers’ Council.

No stranger to the components supply chain, Ms. Taylor started out in the industry in 1986 as a manufacturers’ representative in the Midwest. Vishay was the firm’s largest line, so when an opportunity arose in 1998 to join Vishay, she became part of their global account team, responsible for one of their customers – Delphi. She later became Automotive Segment Director, establishing policies and practices to support this important market segment. She continued to rise through the ranks, leading Strategic Global Accounts and becoming part of the Executive Sales team.

In 2009, she became responsible for the Americas and led the sales organization in this region. She had the opportunity to work closely with distribution partners as well as the OEM/EMS customers that have their corporate locations in the Americas but manufacture in other regions.

“Ms. Taylor has recently been promoted to Global Customer Service leader at Vishay and is part of the team ensuring that the company is properly positioned to capture significant revenue growth going forward, an important goal of Vishay’s new CEO,” explained ECIA’s VP of Industry Practices Don Elario. “Along with these new responsibilities, she has agreed to work with the GIPC on improving efficiencies in the components channel, which is a testament to the importance of the work we do. Anne will be a valuable addition to the GIPC and we are grateful she has agreed to add her expertise.”
