ECIA 2023 Executive Conference Announces New Subcommittees
New streamlined structure for speaker vetting and sponsorships

Atlanta—The ECIA Executive Conference Planning Committee announced it has added new subcommittees for 2023. The speaker vetting committee will help research and review speakers in their area of expertise. They will then offer recommendations to the full planning committee. The sponsorship subcommittee will enable the conference to engage the highest quality speakers, topics and event “add ons” as they work hard securing sponsorships. Below are the individuals serving on the new subcommittees.

The Speaker Vetting Subcommittee members include:

  • Robert Derringer - Crouzet (Co-Chair Subcommittee)
  • Maryellen Stack - Sager Electronics (Co-Chair Subcommittee)
  • Pam Berigan - Sager Electronics
  • Regina Denbow - Mouser Electronics
  • David Gannon - Murata Electronics
  • Joel Zaens - TDK

The Sponsorship Subcommittee members include:

  • Bob Garcia - Ferrari Technical Sales (Co-Chair Subcommittee)
  • Sam Read - Cornell Dubilier Electronics (Co-Chair Subcommittee)
  • Doug Gilbey - Waldom Electronics
  • Tim Kilfoil - JF Kilfoil
  • John Eckart - FHS
  • Dave Norris - Norris Associates

“Fortunately, as this conference gains prestige, we are being flooded with speaker possibilities,” ECIA Director Stephanie Tierney remarked. “This new committee structure will facilitate the process of reviewing and selecting those with the most industry-specific information for our audience. And having more sponsorships will mean more funding available to get the best.”

“We are sending out a survey to our members to gather input on what topics they want to hear about in October,” added ECIA SVP Victor Meijers. “I’m really excited to see the program and conference this team will put together.”

The Executive Conference runs October 22-24, 2023, at the Loews Chicago O'Hare
