ECIA 2022 Executive Conference Honors Paul Andrews
Founder of TTI Receives ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’

Atlanta — ECIA named Paul Andrews as the recipient of the coveted Lifetime Achievement award at the ECIA Executive Conference held in Chicago recently. ECIA's lifetime achievement award is given to individuals who have dedicated their lives to the electronic components industry and ECIA. The last award was given in 2011.

Paul Andrews passed away in 2021. Mike Morton, CEO of TTI, accepted the award. “I feel it’s important, and incumbent upon us to remember and acknowledge those who paved the way for us every chance we get,” Mike commented. “The recognition of Paul for his lifetime contributions to our industry is well deserved to be included among those recognized by this association in the past including Distribution icons. It was an honor to present the Lifetime Achievement Award to the memory of my boss, my mentor, and my friend of 45 years. I thank the association for allowing me that great honor and for publicly recognizing Paul’s pioneering contribution to our industry and the evolution of all electronic component distribution.”

“This is an award that is not handed out very often and is given with much consideration,” noted ECIA President and CEO David Loftus. “Past recipients include Tony Hamilton, Robert W. Galvin, Seymour Schweber, Gordon Marshall, Jerry Sanders, Dr. Felix Zandman and Stephen Kaufman. This year, we were fortunate to have TTI’s Mike Morton there to help us honor and remember this great leader.”
