ECIA 2022 Executive Conference Talent Session Highlighted 
Monica Highfill, one of three founders of Women in Electronics (WE), offers tips and tricks for retaining and recruiting talent   

Atlanta — Retaining and recruiting talent goes far beyond career fairs and job postings. Monica Highfill, WE Executive Director will take a deep dive into talent retention and recruitment at the 2022 Executive Conference, themed ‘Bucking Normal, the Resilient Thrive Through Disruption’. This session will educate attendees on the value of mentorship and inclusion, and how this plays a large role in retaining and recruiting critical talent. 
Monica Highfill currently serves as a Founding Executive Director of Women in Electronics, a non-profit organization that empowers women with leadership and development skills in the electronics Industry. She also serves as the Managing Director of the Mentorship Program for Women in Electronics. Most recently, Monica was the Vice President of Sales for the Americas with KEMET/YAGEO. Prior to her almost 14-year career at KEMET/YAGEO, Monica held management positions at Kent Electronics, Avnet, and Heilind. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s College of California and obtained her MBA at Santa Clara University.
