ECIA's EIA Standards Committee Congratulates Recipients of IEC 1906 Awards ECIA, as the Technical Administrator of 13 US Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) to the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), is pleased to announce that four individuals from within its US TAGs have been awarded the 2022 IEC 1906 Award. This prestigious recognition has been awarded to: Fall 2022 Meetings for all EIA Standards Committees Scheduled The CE-2 Connector Committee will meet September 28-29, 2022 at the ECIA DC Office in Herndon, VA. The Passive Components committees, Automatic Handling Committee and Solder Technology Committee will meet at the Engineering Summit, October 19-20, 2022 at the ECIA DC Office in Herndon, VA. These meetings will be hybrid meetings; conducted face-to-face in combination with web conference remote attendance. Participation in the EIA technical standards program is highly encouraged and is open to all with a material interest in the subject matter. Many ECIA member companies participate in the standards program as Producers and Users, but input is also requested from those who fit in the General Interest category.
