Mike Slater Joins ECIA Distributors’ Council
Mike is VP of Global Business Development at Digi-Key

Atlanta— ECIA is pleased to announce that Mike Slater has joined the ECIA Distributors’ Council. This group is one of three ECIA constituent councils that along with the Distributor and Manufacturers’ Representative Councils provides oversight responsibility for that group’s specific priorities and agenda items. 

Mike Slater is Vice President of Global Business Development at Digi-Key. He currently oversees the company’s worldwide customer and supplier development strategy. He brings more than 25 years of sales, management and business experience to the Distributors’ Council. Prior to joining Digi-Key, he served as the president of E-Switch Inc., where he was responsible for the company’s global sales across North America, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Slater also previously served as a general manager at Arrow Electronics, where he built, managed and developed effective sales teams.
