ECIA Welcomes Ryan Riesterer as ECIA General Counsel
Robin Gray will transition to emeritus status in 2022

 

ATLANTA – ECIA is pleased to announce that Ryan Riesterer has joined the organization as General Counsel. Robin Gray will be retiring from ECIA this summer.

“We are very fortunate to add Ryan to the ECIA staff,” noted ECIA CEO and President David Loftus. “Ryan is an accomplished trade association attorney with more than fifteen years’ experience, who will help ECIA and its members manage risk and stay in compliance with current and evolving laws and regulations.”

“I am very excited to join the incredible team at ECIA and continue the great work the Association has done for so many years advocating for the authorized channel,” added Riesterer. “I love the commitment to collaboration among and between ECIA’s manufacturer, distributor and manufacturers’ rep firm members and I look forward to representing the Association and advancing the interests of the members and the industry.”

Prior to joining ECIA, Ryan served as General Counsel to the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and he has built and operated a successful private law practice for more than a decade.

Ryan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and political science from Baldwin Wallace University and his J.D. from the College of William & Mary School of Law. Ryan is licensed to practice law in Ohio, Colorado, and the District of Columbia. Ryan and his wife Meghan live in Northeast Ohio with their four children, where they enjoy golf, travel and spending time outdoors.
