Member of the Week

We are pleased to announce Hughes-Peters as our Member of the Week!

Hughes-Peters, is a multi-regional distributor of Sensing, Interconnect, Passive and Electromechanical products that include sensors, fans, switches, power supplies, and more. The company has 12 office locations in the USA with two distribution centers that include Value-Add services to support their customer partners. The company’s focus is on high service levels and relationships.

Recently, Hughes-Peters celebrated their 100th year and announced to their employees that they are now part-owners of the company, entering into an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) on December 3, 2021. "We did not get to where we are today without a long list of dedicated and loyal employees, some that are no longer with us. Selling the company outright was not an option" said Mike Okel, President of Hughes-Peters. "We’ve had a year of celebration for our company’s 100th year in business and there is no better way to cap it off."

The Hughes-Peters team has been active within ECIA for many years volunteering on committees including the Global Industry Practices Committee. They are also a founding donor for the PACE training initiative program.

ECIA thanks Jeff Sam, Mike Smith and the entire Hughes-Peters team for the continued support.
