Webinar: Future of the Workplace - Post-Pandemic Trends in Office & Industrial Space

Thursday, September 30 | 11:00 AM Eastern | Register Today

The global pandemic has fundamentally altered how and where people need to be located in order to complete their work. As the world has changed, so too has the future of the workplace. The work from home experiment turned out to be more successful than anyone thought and cultural norms around the importance of working in the office have changed.

Organizations are no longer just questioning WHEN their employees will return to the office, but WHO will return and at what frequency. This determination is front of mind for all organizations and begs the question on how much and what kind of space will be needed in the future to accommodate a hybrid work environment.

Please join us for a discussion with Brad Wilner and Manny Fitzgerald from CBRE on “The Future of the Workplace."

Webinar: ECIA Special Briefing - Understanding the Tax Policies of the Infrastructure Bill

Friday, October 1 | 12:00 PM Eastern | Register Today

The ECIA webinar with special NAM (National Association of Manufacturers) guests Michael O’Brien, AVP  Advocacy, and Christopher Netram, VP Tax and Domestic Policy, will explore the impact of proposed tax increases on U.S. manufacturers, provide tax policy perspective as well as engagement opportunities for our member companies.

The U.S. House Ways and Means Committee is considering legislation to increase taxes by approximately $2 trillion over the next decade as part of the Build Back Better Act (the budget reconciliation bill). The bill will negatively impact manufacturers across the U.S in every industry sector. The NAM has formally opposed this legislation and released a statement found here.

As Congress considers “reconciliation” legislation that could undo the gains of tax reform, ECIA and NAM are asking your organization and network to get involved and help to mobilize the broader business community in opposition to tax hikes.

Time is of the essence! Congress is at a critical juncture and needs to hear from you. Listen in and learn the details of this massive piece of legislation.

Industry leaders have pledged over $400,000 to fund the course offerings! This funding will enable ECIA to maintain and increase the number of courses for the foreseeable future. We have set a goal of $500,000 which will guarantee ECIA members access to unique industry training. Read more about E-Learning.
