FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ECIA Releases Annual Study on Top 50 Worldwide Authorized Distributors 2025
Dataset expanded to include major authorized distributors from all three regions.

Atlanta –ECIA has released its annual Top 50 Worldwide Authorized Distributors report at this link on TrustedParts.com. This report is the latest update of the true, original “Top 50 Worldwide Authorized Distributors” research that was published for the first time in 2021. The goal of the study that developed the data presented in this report is to include the major authorized distributors from all three regions. Given the dominating presence of Asia as a distribution market, a second goal was to provide total revenue data for top markets for electronic components in Asia.

This report includes valuable insights gathered through interviews with experienced distribution executives, including Avnet, Arrow, DigiKey, Future, Sager and Marsh. These candid discussions covered major challenges and opportunities facing authorized electronic components supply chain participants.

“Geopolitical Conflict and Cybersecurity emerged as the greatest concern among distribution executives in 2025, passing Tariffs and Extended Lead times,” noted ECIA Chief Analyst Dale Ford, author of the study. “Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Cloud Computing, Edge Computing, and Robotics lead all markets in the opportunities they present for growth. Optimism for technology sales growth was much stronger in the long-term outlook (Out to 2030) than the near-term expectations (2026). Fourteen technology segments saw strong increases in expectations in the long-term compared to only five segments in the near-term. The breadth and depth of analysis from executives interviewed for this report provides a highly nuanced level of insight into how the component industry is responding to the unprecedented supply chain disruptions of the last five years. This is a must-read report,” Dale concluded.

The report is available to all at TrustedParts.com.
