Located at Center for Strategic & International Studies, Washington, DC 20036

Sponsored by ECIA and SIA, this event brings together current and former government officials, compliance practitioners and policy experts from technology companies and their valued channel partners, university and think tank researchers, and legal practitioners to assess the state of U.S. dual-use export controls on semiconductors and other technology items and identify practical paths for compliance.

Through expert panels and interactive discussion, participants will examine policy updates, enforcement trends, diversion threats, IP and insider-threat risks, and opportunities to strengthen export compliance programs and public–private partnerships. Learn more or register.

ECIA Members – Request for Participation in EIA Standards

ECIA maintains over 200 American National Standards for passive electronic components and technologies related to them through EIA Standards Committees. These standards form a common language that clearly identifies the specifications to which components are manufactured, tested and perform. Many ECIA manufacturer members participate in the ECIA Standards program, but we are specifically looking for people with expertise from the distribution side on how these components are stored and used to give additional insight in the General Interest category. All work is conducted remotely through the ECIA Workspace and web conferencing, with optional travel to 2-3 in-person meetings per year.

For more information on how to get involved, email Ed Mikoski at emikoski@ecianow.org or Laura Donohoe at ldonohoe@ecianow.org.
