December 2025 Highlight - Julie Fajardo, TDK-Lambda
What is your involvement with ECIA and what have you gained from your engagement with the association?
I’m part of the core committee for the Executive Conference at ECIA, which has not only given me a front-row seat to industry developments but also helped me build some truly beautiful friendships. I am also on the EDS board. Working together to make our industry healthier for all companies is rewarding—after all, “a rising tide lifts all boats.” And sometimes, it even lifts our spirits at those early morning meetings!
What does your company do and what is your role in your company?
TDK-Lambda manufactures power supplies for a wide range of markets, including medical, industrial, robotics, aerospace & defense, and more. I serve as the Director of Global Distribution, which means I get to help keep the world powered!
What is your favorite thing about this industry?
Hands down, it’s the people—both inside and outside the company. I genuinely enjoy working with our distribution partners and growing our sales together. I’m one of those rare folks who can honestly say, “I love what I do.” (And yes, I say it even before my first cup of coffee.)
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Spending time with my grandkids tops the list, closely followed by enjoying a nice cocktail with family and friends on the weekends. It’s all about recharging—sometimes with batteries, sometimes with vodka martini.
Are you currently binging any shows on Netflix, Hulu etc.?
Recently, I finished “Black Rabbit” which I was hooked on. It’s the perfect way to unwind after a busy week of powering up the world.
