ECIA Releases Study on Top 50 Worldwide Authorized Distributors 

Top Asian Distributors Surge Back to Drive Worldwide Authorized Distribution Sales Growth of 4.8% in 2024. 

ECIA has released its annual Top 50 Worldwide Authorized Distributors report, and there are some surprises. Each year, Chief Analyst Dale Ford compiles this report from survey results, extensive research of public financial data, input from manufacturers and distributors, and web-based secondary research. Findings reflect both the research and Dale Ford’s deep understanding of the component channel.

According to the World Economic Report on Cybersecurity Risks of 2025, of large organizations, 54% identified supply chain challenges as the biggest barrier to achieving cyber resilience. The increasing complexity of supply chains, coupled with a lack of visibility and oversight into the security levels of suppliers, has emerged as the leading cybersecurity risk for organizations. Key concerns include software vulnerabilities introduced by third parties and propagation of cyberattacks throughout the ecosystem.
