September 2025 Highlight - Sean Sorteberg, DigiKey
What is your involvement with ECIA and what have you gained from your engagement with the association?
I am in my second year of supporting the ECIA Executive Conference Sponsorship Subcommittee. It has been great to grow my connections throughout the industry and help support a first-class organization.
What does your company do and what is your role in your company?
I have worked for DigiKey for the past 7 years. We are a Global Digital Distributor. I am responsible for our Multi Market Semiconductor business unit – overseeing our global Product Management, Asset Management and Supplier Engagements.
What is your favorite thing about this industry?
I enjoy the speed at which the industry evolves and grows and the deep connections and relationships that drive it forward.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Minnesota Lake time, Sports, golfing, following/coaching my kids activities, exercising, & cheering on the MN Vikings.
Are you currently binging any shows on Netflix, Hulu etc.?
Given Football season is near, I have been watching the new football shows to get ready for fall! Quarterback, The Kingdom, SEC - Any Given Saturday.
