July 2025 Highlight - Regina Denbow, Knowles
What is your involvement with ECIA and what have you gained from your engagement with the association?
For the past three years, I have been on a speaker vetting sub-committee for the ECIA executive conference. I really enjoy being a part of the process and working with the core committee to find engaging, relevant speakers who cover important topics and trends in the industry.
I’ve gained so much from being an ECIA member, but by far the biggest gain for me are the relationships that I’ve made over the last 3 years, and those that I will continue to make with every event I attend. I feel honored to get to work with an amazing group of people at ECIA. I also gain so much industry knowledge from each of the events that ECIA hosts. From EDS to the Executive Conference, I always learn something new or get a different perspective, which allows me to continue to grow.
What does your company do and what is your role in your company?
Knowles is a leading manufacturer of specialty electronic components – high-performance capacitors, radio frequency (“RF”) filters, advanced MedTech microphones, and balanced armature speakers – across the MedTech, Defense and Industrial markets. I am currently the Global Distribution Account Manager, working very closely with our internal team members, our Rep network, and our distributor partners (TTI, DigiKey, and Mouser). We want to ensure that we’re working hand in hand with our reps and distribution network to help our customers with any design needs.
What is your favorite thing about this industry?
My favorite things about this industry are all the relationships and friendships that I have made over the years. I also love all the new relationships that I form with every meeting/event that I attend. This industry is so large, but with all the relationships you make, the circle always seems small. It is so fascinating to see how the 3-legged stool works in sync, from Suppliers, Reps, and Distribution, and how all those players must be involved.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
When I am not working, I truly enjoy spending time with my family. We love camping, although others might consider using an RV glamping. I am a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and always look forward to football season – and hope this is the Cowboys year! My husband and I love to travel and always have a trip planned to see the world!
Are you currently binging any shows on Netflix, Hulu etc.?
My husband and I just recently finished Lioness on Paramount + and we can’t wait for the next season of Landman to come out. We’re always looking for recommendations, so let me know if you have any!
