IEC 1906 Award Recipients

The IEC 1906 Awards was established in commemoration of the foundation of the IEC and honors technical experts around the world whose work is fundamental to the IEC. 

For the 2025 nominations, Technical Committee Chairs and Secretaries were invited to send names of candidates for the IEC 1906 Award and over 200 candidates from 28 National Committees were nominated. 

ECIA joins with the USNC in congratulating to the following award recipients from ECIA-managed USNC TAGs.

Peerless Electronic Equipment Company was founded in 1932 by C. C. Baines and has a history that spans over three generations. Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, they are one of the oldest electronic distributors in the United States.

Today, operating as Peerless Electronic Supplies, they continue to be a broad line business-to-business distributor of electronic components and assemblies. Their facility is approximately 25,000 square feet located on one acre. They employ a field sales staff covering areas throughout Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
