ECIA’s April 2025 ECST Survey – NEW QUESTIONS THIS MONTH!

As we begin our April 2025 ECST survey we want to draw your attention to the addition of two new questions to the survey. We are very sensitive to the need to keep the survey brief but see a benefit to the addition of these questions. We want to draw your attention to this change to avoid confusion in the new survey.

We ask you to provide your personal input for the April Monthly ECST. We are not asking you to represent your company - the survey asks for your individual perspective.

Click hereto complete the Monthly survey by April 18th.

New Tariff Indicator for Electronics Components on TrustedParts.com

Introducing the Tariffs Feature on TrustedParts.com

Tariffs have disrupted the electronics supply chain, creating higher costs and payment delays for manufacturers and distributors. Many suppliers are passing on tariff costs as separate charges or within unit prices, but these adjustments can complicate payments and strain relationships. Additional challenges, like duty refunds and cross-border shipping rules, add to the confusion.

How can you stay informed and mitigate these challenges for your business?

To help you stay informed, TrustedParts.com has launched a new feature on search and product pages. A tariff symbol with a pop-up will display to notify you when one or more distributors indicate that a U.S. import tariff may apply to a product. The image below shows an example of this feature on our electronic components search engine.
