ECIA Welcomes Toby Lasley to Rep Council

ECIA is pleased to announce that Toby Lasley has joined the ECIA’s Independent Manufacturers Rep Council. Toby is currently VP of sales and marketing for ION Associates. He has had a range of responsibilities over his 22 years’ experience including major account coverage and leading a sales team in Latin America. Toby earned a degree from the University of Texas. He resides in Austin, Texas with his wife, three children, and dog.

Back to the Summit! Registration Update 

May 10 - 13, 2022 | The Mirage | Las Vegas

Registration for EDS 2022 at the Mirage in Las Vegas, will open shortly. Representative and distributor companies who have previously attended EDS will receive an email in mid-January with a link to the online registration system and the required password. Only Rep and distributor companies are eligible to register through the online portal. Manufacturers and service providers must register through EDS Management.

Standards Update - CE-2 Meeting 

The first meeting of the ECIA CE-2.0 National Connector and Socket Standards Committee will take place February 9-10, 2022. The meeting will take place at the ECIA Herndon office, with the option of participation via Webex.

Please contact Ed Mikoski, ECIA Vice President of Standards and Technology or Laura Donohoe, Manager of Standards and Technology for further information regarding participation in the ECIA standards program, which produces technical standards for a variety of electronic components and related technologies.

ECIA offers its members insight into the industry and a variety of market trends information. Members can log into the website and visit the Stats & Insights page to access an increasing number of statistical reports. Some are available to the public, some to members and others are only accessible to those who participate in the survey.
