6:00 pm  Dinner

6:30 pm:   Dynamic pricing science personalizes every customer offer with precision throughout the customer lifecycle.

salter-toddTodd Salter is the Enterprise Account Executive at PROS, a cloud-based dynamic pricing company. Todd will explore whether component companies are leaving millions of dollars on the table due to an over-obsession with cost-plus modeling and ineffective delivery of non-optimized prices. The technology industry is increasingly focused on growth to stay ahead of modern business challenges. The traditional route to meeting revenue goals has been investing in customer support, marketing, and R&D activities and maintaining competitive pricing. The time has arrived when technology companies must look beyond traditional revenue growth tactics. A focus on the customer sales experience is paramount to creating consistent, sustainable revenue growth. Companies that fail to implement a customer-centric sales process will likely lose revenue to a more customer-minded competitor.

Prior to joining PROS, Todd served at Freescale (later acquired by NXP) and at Memec (later acquired by Avnet) in various sales management and marketing roles. While working in the semiconductor world, Todd recognized that the industry was struggling with pricing complexity and the ability to impact pricing dynamically. He joined the pricing optimization software world to be part of the solution, and passionately believes that dynamic pricing guidance and artificial intelligence are the wave of the future.
