The 2017 Regional Series event will be held at the Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel on Tuesday, August 8th. Join the local electronics industry community for an evening of unique networking and sit-down dinner.

Jeff joined PwC in 2015 after 25 years with the U.S. Secret Service. He has extensive experience as an investigator, physical and personal protection specialist, counter terrorism specialist, TeamLeader and digital forensic examiner. He has worked on hundreds of forensic investigations related to cybercrime, IP theft, fraud, terrorism, kidnapping and murder. Jeff has investigated cases across numerous industries including energy, retail, banking, healthcare, telecommunications,and federal/state governments.

Research company Gartner estimates that by 2020 there will be over 26 billion connected devices; others estimate this number to be much higher, possibly over 100 billion. The Internet of Things is here - so what impact will it have on your business? The concept and implementation of Internet of Things or IoT is not difficult to grasp.  Ed will explore the implications of IoT and de-mystify the solutions needed to build a complete IoT system.

Ed joined TTI Inc. on June 1st of this year as an IoT Technical Marketing Manager.  He has enjoyed a long career in our industry and brings a wealth of insight. Prior to TTI, Ed was with Avnet for 12 years serving in a variety of technical roles including Senior Technical Marketing Engineer, Business Development Manager, Regional Technical Manager directing FAEs, and he spent time as a Senior FAE.  Earlier in his career, he worked for two different rep companies in Texas as an account manager (West Associates and Mil-Rep Associates). He also worked for NEC Electronics as an FAE and as a design engineer at IBM.
