Sr. Vice President - TTI Americas
1/1/2013 to 12/31/2016
Michael joined the industry in 1983 working for Western Microtechnology, a pioneer semiconductor distributor in Silicon Valley. For the rest of that decade he worked for several other distributors and reps in sales and marketing roles in Silicon Valley, and then made the shift into electronic component manufacturing. Through the nineties he ran national and then international sales and marketing, and then moved into general management. In the late 90’s he joined a semiconductor packaging start-up as President and COO and managed the company through its transformation into a volume supplier to the largest semiconductor and semiconductor assemblers in the world. This was enabled with the construction and start-up of a fab in Southern China. After successfully selling the company in 2004, he joined TTI, the world’s leading IP&E distributor, as VP of Product Management. He is currently SVP of the Americas responsible for product management, marketing, TTI’s transportation business unit, quote management and development, and Latin America sales. He has served on the NEDA board of directors, and now ECIA board, for the past eight years.
