Bob Walsh is the president of Coakley, Boyd and Abbett, Inc. (CBA), a manufacturers’ rep firm serving New England and metro New York. He joined CBA in 1981 as an inside/outside sales trainee and quickly moved to outside sales for both OEM and distributor customers. He became a CBA stockholder in 1992 and President in 1995. In addition to his responsibilities at CBA, Walsh is long-serving officer and board member of the New England ERA chapter. After holding several senior vice president offices, he was elected as ERA's national president in 2009 and as the association chairman in 2011. He was also the chairman of the 2000 ERA Conference Committee. He has also served on the executive board of the Manufactures Representative Education research foundation (MRERF). Bob has been a member of ECIA since 2011 and currently serves on the ECIA Board of Directors.. In 2013, Walsh received the Ray Hall Spirit of ERA Award.
