Phil DeMarie joined Silicon Labs in 2009 to establish the worldwide channel sales team. Since its inception, the team has been instrumental in significantly growing the company’s broad-based businesses. The channel sales team has established close working relationships with Silicon Labs’ distributors and independent representatives around the world to drive demand at Silicon Labs’ 10,000+ broad-based customers. Specific business plans, mutual goals and objectives, and creative sales and marketing campaigns have served to make the channel sales program a substantial and ever-growing portion of Silicon Labs’ overall business. Prior to joining Silicon Lab, Mr. DeMarie served as vice president of worldwide channel sales for Cypress Semiconductor. Mr. DeMarie previously managed worldwide channel sales for Altera Corporation. Additionally, Mr. DeMarie held various field sales positions at National Semiconductor. Mr. DeMarie holds a B.S. degree in business-finance from the University of Illinois.
