Overflow Crowd and Lively Discussion at ECIA Dallas Regional Series Event

ECIA's Dallas meeting speakers addressed a packed room at the Sheraton DFW Airport Hotel on Tuesday. ECIA's Don Elario, Vice President of Industry Practices moderated a panel focused on how and
when to implement recent tariff increases, industry regulations affecting quality, and doing business in the great state of Texas. Panelists included TTI's Chris Goodman, CFO and Kevin Sink, VP of Quality. James Hines, SVP Advocacy and In-House Counsel of Texas Association of Business added his thoughts on the upcoming Texas legislative session decisions that affect the State's economic development tools. Randy Lawson, IHS Markit also spoke about "Blockchain and Semiconductors: Quantifying the opportunity." Read more.

New | ECIA Expands Data Offering: TPC/SMT Survey Shows Orders and Inventory Forecast

In response to member input, ECIA is pleased to expand its industry data offering with a monthly trends report on the electronic components industry. The report provides results from a survey sent to 20,000 electronic industry professionals across the globe to assess their expectations for order activity and inventory levels. Click here to view the July 2018 report.
This survey has been conducted for two years by Technology Partners Consulting, which provides independent third-party consulting to electronics suppliers and financial services firms. The survey is administered by Glenn Hitchcock, TPC founder and president, who has an extensive 30-year background in the Semiconductor Industry.
